Mergent are looking for multiple NDT/OCTG Inspectors to join their industry leading clients team based in Western Australia. Work rotations are subject to the suitable candidate however, this is an ongoing position reporting into the Operations Manager.

As an NDT Inspector, you will play a crucial role in conducting thorough inspections of materials, equipment, and components using various non-destructive testing methods. Your meticulous attention to detail and in-depth knowledge of NDT techniques will be vital to maintaining the high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out inspection and testing activities in compliance with contractual requirements and within competence and safety limits.
- Market and develop the growth of the business.
- NDT inspection of various industrial equipment, Drill Stem & Production Tubulars
- Specialised Oilfield inspections on Drillpipe, BHA, Speciality Tools, Production Tubing /Casing In accordance to various Industry standards, DS1, NS2, API and other licensor specifications
- Reporting
- Calibration of equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years field experience
- DS-1 Cat 5
- NDT Qualifications – minimum certification, Level 2 MT,PT, UT- ASNT or equivalent
- Extensive & demonstrated knowledge in the Inspection of Drillpipe, BHA, Speciality Tools, Production Tubing /Casing In accordance to various Industry standards, DS1, NS2, API and other licensor specifications
- Flut operation and calibration is preferred
- Experience in administration aspect of inspection processes and reporting
