Mergent are currently partnering with a global energy services company who have a growing requirement for field operators. These are FIFO ex any capital city, on various swings however predominantly 14 on/14 off. All flights, accommodation and food are accounted for.
Responsibilities of this role is to offer support upstream operational requirements and are often general in nature. We're looking for positive, team focused individuals who value exceptional standards in quality and integrity across the oil and gas sector.
Responsibilities:
- Daily servicing of equipment eg. Slickline units and tools
- Performing all assigned tasks with a high degree of accuracy and diligence
- Gain the knowledge to be able to effectively use the stores system
- Ensure that all recorded and reported data is accurate and current
- Develop an understanding of company reporting systems
- Effectively communicate with relevant stakeholders
- Assure job readiness and operation requirements are achieved
- To assist in the JHA program and ensure that all work is carried out in a safe and effective manner
- Develop effective reporting skills across company operating systems and adhere to Quality Management guidelines
Requirements:
- Current HR (minimum) truck license.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Crane license preferred but not essential.
- Basic computer skills preferred but not essential.
- Teamwork and cooperation

- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
- Health, environmental and safety application
- Collaborates Effectively
Compliance and Authority:
- Responsible for own safety and health at work, and for others at work
- Must follow lawful instructions from employer for their safety and health
