We are seeking skilled and self-motivated Material Coordinator Expeditor to contribute to the success of our Operations Team in 2024. Position Overview:The Material Coordinator Expeditor is a vital team member responsible for effective management of the client’s Plant’s stores ensuring appropriate levels of inventory are maintained, purchased , and issued as and when required. Maintaining a tidy and orderly stores that supports and works with the daily production and periodic drilling activities. This includes minor Capital Project procurement and inventory support. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background and a commitment to excellence in the Oil & Gas sector.
Responsibilities:- Initiate the purchase requisition process by raising requisitions and liaising with relevant (local and international) suppliers on a daily basis .
- Creating new inventory items in the Master Data System as required for all new items and previous backlog items .
- Manage Goods Receipting Process upon inventory delivery or service execution .
- Create and execute process to ensure warehouse inventory items are labelled correctly and stored in an orderly manner on a daily basis .
- Negotiate with suppliers their service delivery ( including availability, price and lead times) to realise savings and ensure the required material specification is contracted including post award warranty processes ).
- Manage Procure to Pay process .
- Manage Inventory optimization / Min – Max replenishment process .
- Manage ‘non-catalogu e’ request and approval process .
- Other such duties as reasonably directed in line with skill set .
- Initiate and negotiate Supply Contracts for Inventory, considering Vender Held Stock or Consignment Stocking options.
- Adopting standard safe work practices and procedures in accordance with the clients safety policies.
- Eliminating or reporting workplace hazards, taking part in safety drills and other activities and supporting the work of safety representatives and committees
- Conducting activities in accordance with Armour 's environmental policies, codes and guidelines, in particular minimising energy and material usage in the workplace.
- Forklift license/ticket
- MR truck License
- Self-motivated, high initiative and adaptability

- Able to work effectively under the direction of a supervisor

- Sound written and oral communication skills with ability to liaise with all levels of management and staff
It is desirable that the incumbent can demonstrate experience and/or knowledge in the following:
- 2-3 years supply chain/store person experience preferred
- Pronto or similar business software experience preferred
- Oil and Gas Industry experience
