As our continued growth opens up new possibilities our Tier 1 mechanical contractor client specialising in HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems, are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join their team in a full time capacity.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an exceptional Mechanical Supervisor to oversee our industrial projects focusing on HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems. As a key leader within the team, you will collaborate closely with our Tier 1 client, ensuring the successful execution of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Your leadership and technical expertise will drive the team towards excellence, maintaining the highest standards of workmanship, safety, and efficiency.
You will be involved in a variety of projects, spanning from small-scale works to major endeavours. The clients portfolio offers diverse opportunities, including high-rise residential and commercial developments, significant healthcare projects, industrial installations, and CBD fit-out works.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of Mechanical Plumbers on industrial projects.
- Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems.
- Collaborate with project managers and client representatives to plan and coordinate project activities.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to team members.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports and materials used.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience as a Mechanical Supervisor with a focus on HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and plumbing installations.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety protocols and regulations.
- Relevant certifications and licenses.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Previous experience working with Tier 1 clients is advantageous.
