As our continued growth opens up new possibilities, our client, a leading service provider within the commercial & industrial sector of the building and construction industry of South Australia are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a background in construction, preferably with plumbing experience, to oversee a project continuing for the next 12 months.
Position Overview:
As Site Manager, you will be responsible all aspects of on-site operations, including personnel, equipment, and resources. Whilst Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to meet project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all aspects of the construction site, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
- Supervise and provide guidance to onsite staff and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and clients, to ensure project objectives are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and material deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concerns or issues promptly.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration among onsite staff and subcontractors.
- Previous experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry.
- Plumbing experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- 12 month project.
