Position Overview:As a Well Test Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating well testing operations, ensuring the efficient and safe execution of projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for operational excellence and a background in well testing within the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety whilst being adaptable to remote work and environments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise well testing operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
- Coordinate with drilling and production teams to plan and execute well test programs.
- Over-see and direct the setup & rig in/out, calibration, and operation of well test equipment and instrumentation.
- Monitor and optimize well performance during testing, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Train and mentor well test crew members, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe personal and working environment.
- Document all aspects of well test activities, including data, reports and post-job analysis.
- Participate in the servicing and maintenance of all equipment being used.
- Operate and monitor equipment in accordance with Company Procedures and Policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Oilfield well site services experience of a minimum 5 years with strong multi-skill experience in well testing onshore/offshore, slickline services onshore/offshore, and early production systems.
- Evidence of lower level supervisor experience.
- Computer literacy & experience (word processing, excel, dashboard or fekete equivalent etc)
- Health, Environmental and Safety application
- Gas detection training Certificate
- Breathing Apparatus Training
- Wellsite Permit to Work Holder & Authority training
- Current Drivers License
- 4WD License
- Current HR (minimum) truck license
- Current First Aid Certificate
- High Risk Crane License (CV)
- Well Test Training preferred but not essential
- Data Acquisition training preferred but not essential
- Sampling Course – Advanced (PVT) preferred but not essential
- Well Control Training preferred but not essential
